Thanks, Alex. I had someone just today speak of keynote in glowing terms. Sounds interesting. I've never owned a Mac (and, in fact, used other MP3 players for years; I wasn't sold on the iPod until the last couple of years). I probably will buy a Mac someday when I have an income again. My iPhone has more or less grown into an in separatble 5th appendage in the 2 months I've had it, so obviously they're making good stuff.

Until then, my Thinkpad has served me well.

Abbie, if you are using a Mac and want to have more freedom in creating the video you could as well try to make something similar in Keynote. Then you have complete control over everything and there are great animations/effects in the program (unlike Powerpoint). Files can also be exported as videos. Just a suggestion if you don't want to mess around/invest too much time in video editing software. I even think that one can download a trial version from the Apple site.
I made some videos to be displayed between speakers at a conference and it looked professional.
Alex
(BTW: I am not affiliated with Apple ;-)

Thanks, Alex! I agree that the music ends abruptly. Unfortunately, Animoto (though cooler than anything I can presently do for myself) is partially automated, and I can't directly control where the music ends. I can manipulate it indirectly, though.

I really like the video, the only thing I'd change (apart from what you want to do - i.e. adding voices) is to not let the music fade out at the end but rather have it end with some musical "bang".
