Book III – Episode 10

This is Nim (because sooner or later, all web pages must degenerate to pictures-of-my-cat). But, no, really, he’s in the episode! He’s a voice actor!

No cats were harmed in the making of this podcast. :)

In addition to Nim, this episode included the vocal talents of:

Nathan Lowell (the Solar Clipper novels) as Gerard.

Kim the Comic Book Goddess (Temple of the Geek Pantheon) as Morchella.

Jeff McDowall (who draws my maps and many other things) as Hoepali.

The nescent Cowry Catchers website is here. Cool stuff will accumulate there over the next few months. If you want, you can subscribe to the feed now. When things really kick off over there, I will give a heads up here, too. You can view some of the Cowry Catchers illustrations (both finished and unfinished) here. Thanks for coming along for the ride, and I hope you stick around!

It has been a Panamindorah kind of day here, between this new episode (hi, Nim!) and the new Dunesteef episode. Very enjoyable.
If it hadn’t been for the Dunesteef commentary, I would have totally missed that their story was about cats and dogs. Completely.

Just speaking hypothetically, if I were to buy equipment in order to be a voice actor, what might I get? The promised (Skype) headset has not appeared, and could be lost.

Thanks for the peak into the Cowry Catchers.

The blooper reel had me laughing.

    Thanks for the sunshine!

  • Gail – Thank you! Yeah, I was impressed that Dunesteef team picked up on that. Most people focus on Lexis’s weird family dynamics, but the story also underscores the way that the wolves (dogs) have interacted with their humanoid companions (they went down with them), as opposed to the cats, who got rid of their humanoid companions a long time ago. Heh. Naturally, the wolves and cats do not get along.

About the mic – I’ll send you an email.

  • Hey, Bryan! I’m glad I left you with some giggles. :D Have a great day.

  • Thanks for writing, I very much liked
