I have returned with the contest prize for Lance! It’s a 3000 word story about Sevn, which I narrated myself.
Things I mentioned: Thing number 1: Norm Sherman of The Drabblecast read one of my drabbles during a Geekspeak interview. Wee!! Norm has a huge part in Cowry Catchers, and if you are not listening [...]
Two more weeks until the drawing on July 12th! Write a review and email me at hilton at fauness dot com for a chance to win a short story about the character of your voice. I also announce that Cowry Catchers will be launching on December 12th. I have a wonderful set of voice actors [...]
I finished the contest prize for Alex! Granted, it did take me a month instead of two weeks, but still not too long, and I produced it with a guest reader, music, and sound effects. Contributors include:
Guest reader: Ryan Stevenson of the Dead Robots’ Society Podcast
Music for the story: Kevin MacLeod, specifically [...]
The Dunesteef Audiofiction podcast bought a Panamindorah short story a while back and podcast it yesterday. This is part of Lexis’s backstory, and I think they did a great job. If you’ve got comments or questions that you’d like me to address in the feedback episode, send them in. Panamindorah has more stories in the making. [...]

I tried something different in this episode – mood music. I’m not sure whether I’ll do that again in this podcast, but I deffinitely want to do it for Cowry Catchers.
Just FYI, Raquar (the swamp faun general from Chapter 8 ) is a main character in another book, Walk Upon High. Reading his lines made me smile. He’s such a jerk and such a fun character to write.
I was inspired by P.G. Holyfield’s new book trailer to try Animoto. I’d been wanting to make a trailer for Prophet for a while, and this was fun to play around with.
